Geomembrane

The main mechanism is to block the leakage channels of earth dams by using the impermeability of plastic membranes, while the membrane's high tensile strength and elongation help withstand water pressure and accommodate dam deformation. The non-woven fabric, made of polymer short fibers through needle punching or thermal bonding, also has high tensile strength and elongation. When combined with the plastic membrane, it not only enhances the membrane's tensile strength and puncture resistance but also increases the friction coefficient of the contact surface due to the roughness of the non-woven fabric. This contributes to the stability of the composite geomembrane and protective layer. Additionally, both materials offer good resistance to bacterial and chemical corrosion, withstanding acids, alkalis, and salts. When used in a shaded environment, they also have a long service life.
